Question by wotsits: In Powerpoint 2007 how I can get the pictures to animate in the order I click them?
I set up a powerpoint and I have used custom animation and sound (on mouse click) to animate each picture. However, I need it to be flexible in that I need the pictures to move in the order I click them (and this could be different every time) rather than what is happening at the moment where they all just move one after the other each time you click. Is this possible? If not, is there a program that makes this possible?

That’s possible in Powerpoint 2007! Here’s how you could do it:

After you put an animation on one picture, you right click the animation and click on Timing.
Something would pop-up. That was the Timing setting box.
On the lower part of the box, you would find Triggers>>.
Click on it, then select Start Effect on Click of:.
Scroll down to find the name of the picture.
Press OK then test your slide.

So, what happens is that the animation would only start if you click on the picture itself.
